The Whiskey Rebellion presents Kodachrome Telephone written by Jessica Wright Buha and directed by Aileen McGroddy as part of Rhinofest--Chicago's longest-running Fringe Festival.
The story was centered around a bag of 500 Kodachrome slides found at an out-of-business antique store. It uses shadow puppetry, live action silhouette, an obsolete projection system, and a million sound cues to tell a story about a father and a daughter on their journey in the world.
The show features performers Charlotte Long, Errol McLendon, and James Snyder with music by John Szymanski and puppet design by James Snyder. I'm stage managing!
There are four performances at the Prop Thtr in Chicago at 7 pm on January 20th, January 27th, February 3rd, and February 10th. Click here for ticket info!
There's also an article in the SunTimes which highlights the show!
