The Whiskey Rebellion presents Kodachrome Telephone written by Jessica Wright Buha and directed by Aileen McGroddy as part of Rhinofest--Chicago's longest-running Fringe Festival.

The story was centered around a bag of 500 Kodachrome slides found at an out-of-business antique store. It uses shadow puppetry, live action silhouette, an obsolete projection system, and a million sound cues to tell a story about a father and a daughter on their journey in the world.

The show features performers Charlotte Long, Errol McLendon, and James Snyder with music by John Szymanski and puppet design by James Snyder. I'm stage managing!

There are four performances at the Prop Thtr in Chicago at 7 pm on January 20th, January 27th, February 3rd, and February 10th. Click here for ticket info!

There's also an article in the SunTimes which highlights the show!

This year's 24 hour project is nearly here!

There are seven ensembles who will each write, direct and perform brand new plays all within--you guessed it--twenty-four hours!

I am writing a script for The Underground. My other teammates are director Hannah Farr, actors Samantha Haeli Johnson, Lucas McGee, Aubry Eggers, and Paul Haskins, with makeup design by Natalie Leighton.

The show is this Saturday, January 25th at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis at 8pm. Click here for ticket info!

I starting working as an intern at Lifeline Theatre in Chicago at the end of November. They specialize in original literary adaptations, and they have a KidsSeries and a MainStage set of shows.

This has been a great experience so far allowing me to be hands-on in the box office, to learn about development and grant writing, to help out with marketing mailings and photos, and even to introduce me to basic financials of the theatre.

Basically, I'm learning a little bit about everything that keeps a theatre running from day-to-day!

Here's a link to Lifeline's blog:

Hey look--it's me!
